Earth Hour, as a sign of commitment to reduce global warming.

Earth Hour is just the start of a campaign that aims to reduce Sydney's greenhouse emissions by 5% in 2007. The event will demonstrate how simple actions can make the world of difference if everyone takes part.

At 7.30pm on 31 March 2007, we are inviting Sydney to turn off its lights for just one hour - Earth Hour - to show that it's possible to take action on global warming.

this building is cadman s cottage which is the Rocks.This is built in 1815-16.This is special because this is a old building.The name of Cadman s cottage comes from John Cadman who took up recidence there in 1827.The building is now used as an information centre by the national parks and wildlife service.
